Administration
This guide explains how to configure an installed Navigate CMS in relation to users, permissions and available functions.
Note that only user accounts which have an Administrator profile can follow this manual. The user account created during the installation process has the Administrator level by default.
We parted this guide in several sections, each one corresponding to a concrete function in the application:
≈ Users
Create and modify Navigate CMS user accounts and set their access levels and permissions.
≈ Profiles
Manage the available user profiles to set permissions for a group of users easily.
≈ Permissions
Learn how to apply permissions and restrictions to user accounts and profiles. Permissions is not a function by itself, it is integrated in Users and Profiles functions.
≈ Functions
Know all the available Navigate CMS functions. For the brave ones, it is possible to create new functions here.
≈ Menus
Define which functions will see the users and how they must be grouped.
≈ Backups
